The WCGS Difference – A Parent’s Perspective

My husband and I moved to Wheaton in 2011 from Virginia after also living in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Texas, and Illinois. We felt led to seek a Christian education after experiencing several different public schools in various states. Not only has the Lord richly blessed our family with roots here in Wheaton, but He has given us the gift of WCGS, and for that, we are eternally grateful!
My youngest is in 7th grade this year and started at WCGS as a kindergartener. I also have two older children who have graduated from WCGS. I have loved watching my children grow up in these hallways. WCGS has such caring and loving teachers and exceptional supporting staff and administration. A few situations that illustrate this in the life of my family center on some unexpected health situations we have had to deal with over the years.

In each situation, I was overwhelmed and amazed by the way these individuals became the hands and feet of Christ. It is my prayer that as our children develop their educational knowledge; that their spiritual journey with our Lord and Savior will grow just as abundantly. WCGS is a platform for that kind of growth!
WCGS is a special place. I am so thankful that the Lord brought us here.
