FOOD DRIVE: Thank you to all the families that contributed to the food drive last week! It is amazing to see the generosity of our community! The food was delivered this past Friday to Wayne Township, who will distribute it to families experiencing food insecurities. Next week we will have the total poundage collected. THANK YOU to all the students that helped collect items–your servant-hearts are appreciated!
Drum roll please…The class of 2035, our Kindergarteners, will be celebrating their families’ generous giving with donuts! Way to go to our youngest WCGS class!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!
SCHOLARSHIP AUCTION & TRIVIA NIGHT, NOVEMBER 13, 6:30 P.M.: We anticipate a great turnout at this year’s Scholarship Auction on November 13! Be on the lookout for sneak peeks of some of the auction items in the days ahead. There is an awesome variety of things to bid on! Thank you to everyone who has donated items, offered sponsorships, contributed to a homeroom basket, or recruited friends to join the fun. There is still time to donate, sponsor, and RSVP, but the time is now! Online bidding opens November 7. Dinner and trivia will be in groups of 8. You can reserve a table with friends or come ready to meet new people. There is no charge to attend. We hope you can join us for a vibrant evening to Gather, Give, and Glorify, all for the great cause of making Christ-centered education more available.

BOOK FAIR: The BOOK FAIR is coming and we need YOU! Opportunities to help include set-up on November 16 and 17 before the sale begins, as well as helping with sales and book selection before, during, and after school on November 18, 19, 20, and 23. There will also be volunteers needed at our WCGS Family Night on Thursday, November 20, and Grandparents’ Day on Tuesday, November 24. If you are able to volunteer, please sign-up HERE. Classes will be coming during their normal library time which is listed in the sign up. Additional information for KE, 3rd and junior high will be added to the SignUp Genius as it is confirmed with teachers. HIGHLIGHTS AND REMINDERS
T2 LUNCH ORDERS OPEN THIS WEDNESDAY 10/28: You will have an opportunity to order 2nd trimester hot lunch for your children beginning Wednesday, October 28, and ending Wednesday, November 4. The menu items you select during the ordering window will remain the same for the entire 2nd Trimester. See the links above for all T2 ordering information and EZ App Instructions. FINAL WEEK FOR LOST & FOUND: ALL ITEMS WILL BE DONATED THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, AT THE END OF THE DAY. During parent-teacher conferences, all lost and found items will be near the front entrance for easy access to check for any lost belongings. Even if you don’t think you are missing anything, please stop and take a look. For the following month, there will be a table of items on the blacktop, along with the coat rack for parents to take a peek during drop-off or pick-up time.
