SCHOLARSHIP AUCTION & TRIVIA NIGHT – November 14, 6:30 p.m.
We anticipate a great turnout at this year’s Scholarship Auction on November 14! Be on the lookout for sneak peeks of some of the auction items in the days ahead. There is an awesome variety of things to bid on! Thank you to everyone who has donated items, offered sponsorships, contributed to a homeroom basket, or recruited friends to join the fun. There is still time to donate, sponsor, and R.S.V.P., but the time is now! Online bidding opens November 8. Dinner & Trivia will be in groups of 8. You can reserve a table with friends or come ready to meet new people. There is no charge to attend. We hope you can join us for a vibrant evening to Gather, Give, and Glorify, all for the great cause of making Christ-centered education more available.
VOLUNTEER:
GRANDPARENTS’ DAY: Grandparents’ Day is almost here!
We eagerly anticipate welcoming hundreds of grandparents onto our campus on Tuesday, November 25, from 10am-12:30pm. This is a special day when grandparents will fill our building, enjoy delicious refreshments, view a program designed just for them, and most importantly, spend sweet time in your child’s classroom. Not every student has grandparents who are able to attend, so in that event, we encourage you to reach out to a “grand friend” and invite them to come and spend the day with your child(ren).
We need your help hosting this event, including volunteers who will send in baked goods, park cars as valet drivers, serve food/coffee, welcome guests as they enter and find classrooms, etc. With the new addition, we will need more help than previous years! Please note, classroom teachers/room parents will organize minimal individual classroom help so this sign-up does not include that. SIGN UP to help or contribute to this special day. Thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer! For questions, please email us HERE or text/phone Carly Aagaard at 630-936-8826 or Kendra Painter at 630-660-8809.
HIGHLIGHTS & REMINDERS:
LOST AND FOUND: All of the Lost and Found items are now on display in the front hallway. The items will be there all week, through conferences on Thursday and Friday. Following conferences, everything will be donated. Please come in and take a look! All of the items are elementary and junior high combined. Thank you for your help!
*PLEASE NOTE: When not on display in the front hallway, the lost and found can be found in the Commons (lunchroom), on the right-hand side, nearest to the doors.
