VOLUNTEER:
GRANDPARENTS’ DAY: We need YOU! We are expecting over 700 grandparents to arrive on campus for Grandparents’ Day 2025 tomorrow! We are in need of some more hands to help prepare for them to come! We are especially in need of help today, Monday, November 24, from 1:00-3:30 p.m. If you are able to help for any portion of this time, we would be grateful. We especially need help with set up/decor, as well as plating all of the baked goods. There are also a few opportunities to help on Tuesday and a need for some more baked goods. Sign up HERE! BOOK FAIR: This year’s Adventure Awaits Book Fair will again be provided by I-55 Book Fairs and is taking place in our new Innovation Hub. I-55 is a Christian company that sells both Christian products and pre-reviewed secular products. A flyer with more information is attached here. This is a great time to get a head start on your Christmas shopping!

CHRISTMAS SALE: Join us for set-up on Thursday, December 4, and for the beloved sale on Friday, December 5! Even if you only have 30 minutes, please consider helping out to make this fun and festive event possible. Click HERE to see our updated volunteer and donation opportunities! We are still in need of baby food jar donations, if you have some that you’re willing to donate please bring them to the office labeled: “Lindsay Earley”.
Elementary School Parents please be aware of the following:
Children are welcome to purchase for one person or several people but please keep in mind they have 20 minutes total to shop.
Younger grades will have assistance from a shopping buddy to help them select gifts during their classroom’s dedicated shopping time.
The price range is $2 to $8. Please send small bills in an envelope with your child. We are able to make change but appreciate $1 and $5 bills.
This list should be used to indicate who they will be shopping for, how much they wish to spend and a recommended gift category.
Please remember to send a shopping bag with handles. Please label the bag with your child’s name and homeroom.
Jr High Parents:
In place of the Children’s Christmas Sale, Jr. High students are invited to attend the 2nd annual Jr. High Christmas Social! Passes are now available for purchase and include a photo booth photo, snacks, three DIY crafts that can be given as gifts, karaoke, and a really good time. We are asking that students purchase passes in advance, to help with inventory planning. Snack items will be offered a la carte for anyone that would like to only karaoke and snack. To purchase a pass please Venmo $10 to the WCGS Auxiliary noting your student’s name. If you’re unable to Venmo and would like to buy a pass, please email lindsayjearley@gmail.com.
