Library News

Congratulations to the Battle of the Books Team!

After competing in eight meets, the Battle of the Books team achieved 1st place for the third year in a row. These 10 students each read anywhere from 28-40 books, and the team only missed 3 questions during the season, having a perfect score in six out of the eight meets. Students on the team were Alicia Sietman, Bradley Cesar, Jackson Quigley, Henry Engeltjes, Sofia Nelson, Abby Khalil, Blaise K., Harper Opdyke, Olivia Wubbena, and William Johnson. Please congratulate these students on their great season! We are so proud of their hard work and how they represented Christ in the meets at the Wheaton Public Library. Information about next year’s team for incoming 4th and 5th graders will come out in late April or early May.

Nurse News

Spring Sports Reminders

If your student plans to participate in a spring sport they must have a current physical on file in the nurses’ office. A physical is good for 395 days. If you have not submitted one, your student will not be able to participate. Please email nurse@wheatonchristian.org if you are unsure if your student needs an updated physical.

In addition to a physical there are two required forms that must be filled out online for your athlete to participate – a concussion form and a travel permission form. These forms are in FACTS Family Portal located in web forms.
