ARTSONIA: The Artsonia committee could use help uploading pictures of artwork! Twice a quarter we meet at school before pick-up for a few hours to take pictures. It is a simple way to give back to our creative community! Consider joining our team! Email to learn more information.
STAFF APPRECIATION: Staff Appreciation Week is April 13-17! The Staff Appreciation Committee organizes the week, so we can bless our teachers and staff and show them how much we appreciate all they do for our children. The schedule for the week is below. We do need help with food donations for the week, so we will include a SignUp Genius HERE. Click on the link to see how you can help make this an amazing week for our teachers and staff. Monday 4/13
* Prayer Time—we invite the whole school to be praying for our teachers throughout the day! Here is a link to the staff directory. Let’s be intentional about praying for our teachers and staff by name and sending them a note or email to let them know you prayed for them today!
* Trail Mix Bar served in the AM (see the SignUp Genius for donations needed).
Tuesday 4/14
* Blackberry Market Cinnamon Rolls with fruit and coffee served in the AM (see the SignUp Genius for donations needed).
Wednesday 4/15
* Breakfast served before school, for Teachers and Staff (see the SignUp Genius for donations needed).
Thursday 4/16
* Staff Treat Day in the AM (provided by 1st Grade—a separate SignUp Genius will be sent to 1st Grade parents).
* Appreciation Notes (you can use your own or the following templates 7x5template 8.5×11 template)–we want to shower teachers and staff with thank you notes (don’t forget Specials teachers, Maintenance Crew, Resource Officer, Office Staff, Support Staff, and our Administrators)! Students can give notes directly to their teachers. We will also have a box just outside the Front Office where kids and adults can drop off notes for distribution later in the day.
Friday 4/17
* Service Day for teachers! This could be helping with a specific project in the classroom or purchasing an item for a class. We want to tangibly bless our teachers today! Room Parents are organizing this for their teachers–see your classroom SignUp Genius or contact them directly with questions.
REMINDERS
LOST AND FOUND: The Lost and Found will be out on display this week in the front hallway. It’s much easier to find things when they are laid out on the tables, so please stop in and take a look!
*For 6th-8th grade students looking for additional lost items, there is also a table in the atrium as well.
