SPARTAN SOCIAL: Thank you to all of you who joined us at the SPARTAN SOCIAL! It was such a joy to see so many families enjoying fellowship and building community together. Thank you to the Special Events Committee for all of your planning and preparation of this special event. Thank you to the volunteers who helped to make this event a success! We are able to provide our community with this event because of your support.
HOT LUNCH: Hot lunch service begins THIS WEEK! Thank you to the many volunteers who have signed up to serve! You are a blessing to the school and to the students!
Volunteer:
HOT LUNCH: Help needed! We are in need of additional volunteers for Wednesday Hot Lunch days! It’s an amazing simple way to serve the school and our amazing kiddos. You’ll meet other parents (and see your kids and all their friends). You would only serve about once per month – less than 2 hours each time. Please email wcgs.hotlunch3@gmail.com and let us know which group you would like to be added to. We would appreciate about 5 more volunteers for each group.
Group B: 9/17, 10/15, 11/12, 12/17, 1/28, 2/25, 3/25, 4/30 (Thursday), 5/27
Group C: 9/24, 10/22, 11/19, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/8, 5/8

MOMS IN PRAYER: We hope you were able to join us this morning at our first Moms in Prayer meeting! If not, please know you are welcome to join us any morning at 9:00 a.m. in room 308 in the former 5th grade hall (across from the gym). We are looking forward to seeing you!
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Exciting news! The Women’s Bible Study kicks off this Wednesday!
Get ready to dive into God’s word alongside an amazing group of women. Join us and you’ll find a welcoming group ready for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer.
This fall, we’re studying the book of Romans using “In View of God’s Mercies.” by Courtney Doctor. Be sure to order your copy before our first meeting on September 10.

Highlights and Reminders:
BOX TOPS: Did you know you can connect your Walmart account to your Box Tops for Education (BTFE) account and earn money for the school, with very little effort? In your BTFE App, click on ‘Connected Accounts’ and follow the prompts for Walmart. Whenever you go to Walmart or do a pick-up order (using that same saved payment method), your BT money will automatically be applied to your account. It’s so easy to do–no more scanning (for Walmart only).
Here are some other ways to earn extra BTs this month:
When participants refer a friend and their friend scans a receipt or shops with their Walmart connected account, schools will earn 100 Bonus Box Tops ($10)! Ends 9/30.
When new participants connect their Box Tops and Walmart accounts for the first time and buy a participating product using the saved payment method in their Walmart wallet, they’ll earn 50 Bonus Box Tops ($5) for their school. Ends 9/14.
We have earned $58.10 so far, and our goal for the school year is $500! 3rd grade is currently leading the school with 28 BTs and 7th grade has 20 BTs. Keep up the great work!
