National Day of Prayer.

Next Thursday, May 2, is the National Day of Prayer. The theme is “Light Up the Word – Light Up the World,” and the verse is “For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.” 2 Samuel 22:29-31. Students will take time throughout the day to stop and pray for our country. Please join us and others across the nation as we pray for the following aspects of our country: family, church, business, education, military, government, and arts/entertainment/media. We are so thankful we serve a God who hears our prayers and who is sovereign over all!
