Re-Enrollment

On behalf of the WCGS administration, faculty, and staff, thank you for the privilege of allowing us to invest ourselves into the lives of your children throughout the 2023-24 school year. We have been blessed to move through this school year together, and the partnership with your family has been a point of distinct gratitude this year. Your children bring us such great joy as God does His work of raising them up to love the Lord and make His name known.

Next week, Wheaton Christian Grammar School will invite you to re-enroll for the 2024-25 school year. We will ask for you to simply update your information through a streamlined online process.

Our re-enrollment process will begin on January 22, and we will send a letter on that day with more details.

We look forward to continuing our partnership!

A wall with a clock and words on it Description automatically generatedNew Verse Decal in the Commons

This past Tuesday, we had a verse decal installed on our Commons wall just above the entrance. The funds for this decal were donated through the 8th Grade Class Gift of 2023. We greatly appreciate the generosity of these families, and are confident that their impact will go well beyond their time here at WCGS!  What a great visual reminder for our students as they enter and exit the Commons each day for the various events and activities that take place in this space – “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”  We have included a picture so that you can see it, but we would encourage you to take a look at it the next time you are in our building.

Reports Cards Issued Tomorrow.

Teachers spent time this past Tuesday during our in-service preparing your child’s report card for 2nd quarter. These report cards will be emailed to you on Friday after school. Much prayer, thought, and time goes into these reports. We hope that they give you a snapshot of the growth of your child over the past nine weeks. Please take note of their academic progress, but also their development socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We desire to see them make gains in each of these areas as they head into the second half of the school year. Thank you for your continued partnership in working towards this goal. It is a team effort, and God is doing great things at WCGS!

Anxious Parents, Anxious Kids: How to Avoid Passing Down Fear/Anxiety to Your Children

HAVE YOU REGISTERED YET for our WCGS Parent Series event on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.?  We welcome WCGS school dad and licensed Clinical Psychologist and Executive Coach, Chris Mazzarella.  Join us as Chris walks through the conversation of stress and anxiety as a slow killer, stealing your peace, wasting your time, and limiting your potential. Sure, you can continue to distract yourself with screens, sugar, stuff, and substances but is that truly giving you the freedom and peace you and your family deserve?  Complicating matters is that your kids are watching, following your example for better or worse. Stop the cycle and learn ways to teach your kids how to break free from stress and anxiety. In this seminar, you will learn the source of your stress/anxiety, the ineffective ways you try to control it, its effects on your physical and mental health, and how to experience greater freedom from excessive and unnecessary fear, worry, and anxiety. Be kind to yourself and invest in your family’s future by attending this timely seminar. Register here.
