A Christmas Reflection from Mr. Brooke

Our glorious Father, orchestrated the movement toward the manger, for our benefit, and for his glory. It is our prayer that your family has a moment or multiple moments in which God reminds you of his remarkable love for you and the power of the Christmas season.

May we be reminded that God created us when he didn’t have to, ran toward us when we turned away from Him, offers redemption instead of slavery, opens up the doors of relationship through the glorious person of Jesus, and then invites us to participate in his remarkable Kingdom work.

The gospel, the good news, is alive, active, transforming lives…and for that, we are eternally grateful. Be encouraged this holiday season from the truth, promise, and invitation found in Philippians chapter 2. Merry Christmas, from Wheaton Christian Grammar School.

Philippians 2:5-11

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage, rather, he made himself nothing, by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself, by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
