Jr. High

Equipped for the future

We provide an array of academic, musical, artistic, athletic, social, and service opportunities designed to maximize the Jr. High years. We strive for WCGS graduates to be Christ-centered, Critical Thinkers, and Community Builders!

Christ centered community

Connect Groups

The Connect Group Program arranges for small groups of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders to gather once a week with their faculty leader throughout the school year. The vision for Connect Groups is for students “connect” with each other to make an emotional investment in themselves, their peers, and their relationship with their Heavenly Father.

Transforming and Proclaiming

Chapels

Junior High students have chapel twice a month to hear biblical teaching from many guest speakers, teachers, and staff. Students are given leadership opportunities like serving on the worship team, introducing speakers, engaging in corporate prayer, and sharing their learnings with the peers!

Winter Exploratories

Winter Exploratories are unique classes that provide a space for innovative learning with the intention of igniting and nurturing passions in our 6th-8th grade students. This week long program allows students to dig deeper into areas of personal interest, and potentially spark a curiosity that could help direct their path for the future!
